Ariana Grande Claps Back at Pete Davidson's Latest 'SNL' Joke About Their Breakup

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Nov 2, 2018

Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson's high-profile engagement and subsequent breakup stole headlines for the better part of this year, but the Sweetener singer isn't letting her ex-fiancΓ© get away with making her the butt of a Saturday Night Live joke.

Davidson appeared in a new promo for the show yesterday (November 1), alongside this week's host Jonah Hill and musical guest Maggie Rogers. In one of the bits, Davidson asks Rogers if she wants to get married, to which she deadpans: "No." Davidson then turns to the camera and says, "0 for 3."

Grande then took to Twitter, sharing the clip, followed by a tweet that read: "for somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh."

She followed that up with: "thank u, next" and "k that's the last time we do that."

The string of tweets has since been deleted β€” but not before fans grabbed screenshots and shared their reactions to the jabs. See some of those below.

Grande will embark on her "Sweetener World Tour" early next year. See the upcoming dates here.
