There are a seemingly endless supply of Spider-Man movies, but Phil Lord and Chris Miller proved that magic can happen if you add even more Spider-men with their Into the Spider-Verse movie. Now, it looks like Sony might be trying that out in real life, combining all of the previous live-action Spider-men for Spider-Man 3.

The news has not been officially confirmed, but Fandom Wire claims that a source from Sony confirmed that both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield would join Tom Holland in the next iteration of his Spider-Man franchise.

While, again, nothing is confirmed, it was reported that all three Spider-men would team up to destroy myriad villains at the end of the film.

Of course, we won't know anymore details until Spider-Man 3 nears its release date. The film is currently slated for December 17, 2021, though we won't be surprised if it's delayed.

As previously reported, Jamie Foxx is said to be returning as Electro for the upcoming sequel. It will be directed by Jon Watts, who helmed Homecoming and last year's Spider-Man: Far from Home.
