Amy Schumer is currently at the peak of her career thanks to her critically acclaimed Inside Amy Schumer series and the forthcoming, buzzed-about Judd Apatow film Trainwreck. Though that movie doesn't arrive until July, the studios are clearly betting on its success as she's already signed up for another film project.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Schumer his signed on to write and star in a forthcoming mother-daughter comedy. She'll write the film with her sister, Kim Caramele, based on an initial script from Katie Dippold, who is also an executive producer on the film.

The film's plot is unknown, though it's said to follow a mother and daughter as their vacation goes awry.

Paul Feig, director of Bridesmaids and Spy, is set to produce. It's said that the film will have an action-heavy tone similar to Feig's The Heat.

Jessie Henderson is also set to produce, while Daria Cercek is overseeing the project for Fox. At this point, a director for the film has not been announced.
