Earlier this year, Four Flies celebrated the late-great Italian musical visionary Piero Umiliani with a retrospective comp complete with a slew of previously unreleased tracks. The Italian music champions are now set to do the same with his ever-fascinating peer Alessandro Alessandroni.

Before the year is out, Four Flies will release a new Alessandroni collection called Lost & Found, which is set to arrive on December 25. The comp finds Four Flies digging deep into Alessandroni's archives, compiling a series of tracks composed by the maestro between the prime period of 1972 and 1978. Amazingly, all 15 songs included on the collection are previously unreleased.

Four Flies writes this of the upcoming release: "Jazz, disco, electronic music — there's no genre Alessandroni hasn't explored — this compilation testifying the incredible diversity of his production and immense musical mind."

Lost & Found will arrive on 180-gram vinyl with a bonus CD included. The comp will be limited to 500 copies, and you can pre-order it over here.

Of course, Lost & Found comes in the waking of the mind-expanding and game-changing Afro Discoteca 12-inch, which Four Flies released earlier this year, pressed twice and sold out of both times.

As previously reported, Alessandroni sadly passed away earlier this year at the age of 92.

In other Four Flies news, the label will also be releasing Gianni Ferrio's Io, Emmanuelle on December 25. You can learn more about that release over here.
