Film production company A24 has announced plans to auction off the original items from its most popular titles in support of New York City residents affected by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

With proceeds from the sale of props and costume items from titles like Eighth Grade, Euphoria, Hereditary, Mid90s, Midsommar, The Lighthouse and Uncut Gems going to charity, the newly launched A24 Auctions begins today in support of frontline health workers.

Read the company's statement below:

Many of the props, wardrobe items, and set pieces from our movies and shows are works of art in their own right: hand-made, one-of-a-kind objects that are the result of countless weeks, months, sometimes even years of labor. We built A24 Auctions to give these collectible items the second life they deserve, and to give fans a chance to own a piece of A24 history for good — literally.

From the preview seen on A24's website, items in the sale appear to include the May queen flower dress from Midsommar, the Furby chain from Uncut Gems and the mermaid figurine from The Lighthouse, as well as many other items.

All proceeds from the auctions will benefit FDNY Foundation, Food Bank for New York City, NYC Health + Hospitals and Queens Community House.

The first auction beings today at 12 p.m. ET, with items from four titles being sold. New auctions are scheduled to take place into mid-May.
