Couch potatoes everywhere will turn their collective attention to Hollywood this morning (more than usual), as the nominees for the 69th Emmy Awards are announced.
The annual award show honours the best in television from over the past year, and the list of contenders will be revealed by Veep's Anna Chlumsky and Criminal Minds' Shemar Moore in a livestreamed announcement ceremony. They'll be joined by the Television Academy's CEO Hayma Washington, and the nominated names will be unveiled beginning at 8:30 a.m. PT/11:30 a.m. ET today (July 13).
You can tune into the livestream over at the official Emmys website, or via the Facebook video embedded below.
The Emmy winners will be announced onstage at a ceremony at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles on September 17. Stephen Colbert will host the event.
Check back for the full list of nominees later this morning, and in the meantime, catch up on last year's winners here.
