Enter for a chance to win a Freddie Mercury Never Boring box set or vinyl.
The legendary Queen frontman's solo material is being compiled into a five-disc box set titled Never Boring with three CDs with 32 tracks, a Blu-ray and DVD featuring 13 promo videos and interviews, a 120-page 10”x10” hardback book full photos (many of them rare and unpublished) as well as thoughts and quotes from Mercury himself and an introduction from Rami Malek, who earned an Oscar for his portrayal of Freddie in Bohemian Rhapsody.
The collection was compiled and produced by Queen's sound team of Justin Shirley-Smith, Kirs Fredriksson and Joshua J. Macrae. The trio sourced the audio from original multi-track tapes to create new mixes that are "true to Freddie's original visions." It will be released through Hollywood Records on October 11.
The release features a 12-track compilation of Mercury solo performances, a newly mixed special edition of his 1985 solo LP Mr. Bad Guy, and the nine-track 2012 special edition of his 1988 orchestral album Barcelona. It also includes Mercury's recently discovered song "Time Waits for No One."
