Solange had a huge year in 2016, releasing A Seat at the Table — an album that not only impressed us enough to land on Exclaim!'s Top Soul and R&B Albums of the year, but one that also made powerful statements about mental health and politics. That record was just recently treated to a physical release, and the singer stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night (December 15) to celebrate.
She started off the performance with "Rise," then moved into "Weary," accompanied the entire time by her back-up vocalists and dancers, who were literally connected to Solange by beautifully draped red fabric.
The performance also marked Solange's return to the NBC studios, following her appearance on Saturday Night Live last month.
