As previously reported, Fred Armisen, Tim Heidecker and John C. Reilly have joined forces for the anticipated new Showtime series Moonbase 8. Today, we get our first taste with a new teaser.
Moonbase 8 is space-themed series, with the show being set in an isolated Arizona desert at NASA's Moon Base Simulator. Armisen, Heidecker and Reilly play a trio of eager astronauts looking to qualify for their first lunar mission.
As the teaser demonstrates, the show will offer plenty of hijinks between these comedic actors, who really do have some Three Stooges potential among them.
As of yet, no firm release date for Moonbase 8 has been set but it's expected to arrive this fall.
