'Seinfeld' Soup Nazi Helps Raise Funds for BC Wildfire Relief

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Aug 14, 2017

Larry Thomas is best known as the "Soup Nazi" on Seinfeld, but this weekend he was yelling "No soup for you!" all in the name of charity.

The moustachioed actor visited New Westminster, BC, yesterday (August 14) to contribute to the wildfire relief effort. Partnering with local business Greens and Beans Deli, Thomas reprised his famous role and served up soup to help raise funds for the victims of the recent and ongoing fires.

As CBC reports, the visit marked Thomas' fourth appearance at the deli; he first visited in 2005 during a Hurricane Katrina fundraiser.

"They always do such great work," Thomas told CBC, explaining that owner Leona Green had once again reached out to him for help. "She called me and told me about the wildfires, and I said, I'm there."
