Netflix has just shared the first trailer for Day Shift, its upcoming vampire-hunting action/horror/comedy starring Jamie Foxx, Dave Franco, and a cowboy hat and jeans-clad Snoop Dogg.
The nearly-three-minute trailer features Snoop Dogg wielding a machine gun, Dave Franco pissing himself and a whole lot of vampire slaughtering.
Day Shift's logline reads:
Jamie Foxx stars as a hard working blue collar dad who just wants to provide a good life for his quick-witted daughter, but his mundane San Fernando Valley pool cleaning job is a front for his real source of income, hunting and killing vampires as part of an international Union of vampire hunters.
It also features Karla Souza, Meagan Good, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Oliver Masucci, Steve Howey, Scott Adkins and Zion Broadnax.
The film arrives on Netflix August 12. Jamie Foxx's last film was 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home. Snoop's last film was 2022's Machine Gun Kelly-starring Good Mourning, which exists, apparently.
