World-renowned Ontario comedian Russell Peters continues to be one of the most successful stand-ups out there. As he concludes his massive "Almost Famous" tour, Peters has now announced plans to shoot a special in Toronto.
The special will be shot over two nights at Toronto's Massey Hall. They'll take place on April 26 and 27, with tickets set to go on sale on March 30.
"The last special I shot in Toronto was in 2003 and that special is the reason I am where I am today," Peters said in a statement. "I wanted to go back to my roots and perform for the fans that were there from the beginning."
Like 2013's Notorious, Peters' next standup special will be released on Netflix. "These shows will be recorded, so make sure you're not there with someone you're not supposed to be with," Peters added.
