Hollywood is having a massive conversation about sexual harassment. In the wake of the ongoing Harvey Weinstein scandal, actor Terry Crews said he was sexually assaulted by a Hollywood executive last year. Now, Rob Schneider claims that he too was sexually harassed in the early stages of his career.
In a video released by TMZ, Schneider says that sexual harassment is "rampant in the industry," adding, "there's not one actress who doesn't have a story."
He goes on to detail his own uncomfortable encounter with a big-time director who has since passed away. He didn't name names, but he described the man as a "gross director."
"I was in a hotel room... I didn't think it was going to be a weird situation," he said, adding that the man came out in a bathrobe and asked him to crawl around on the ground and call toward him. "He was a pig," Schneider added, saying he was momentarily traumatized from the experience.
