Phoebe Waller-Bridge's Fleabag may not be returning for a third season, but the hit U.K. show will be coming to a theatre near you. Waller-Bridge has announced the stage version of Fleabag will screen at select movie theatres around the world for a special one-night-only event next month.

On September 12, Waller-Bridge will live-broadcast her Fleabag performance at Wyndam's Theatre in London on the big screen. It comes in conjunction with National Theatre Live, and the event will indeed screen at various theatres in Canada.

A press release describes the show like this:

See the hilarious, award-winning, one-woman show that inspired the BBC's hit TV series Fleabag, broadcast live to cinemas from London's West End.

Written and performed by Phoebe Waller-Bridge (
Fleabag, Killing Eve) and directed by Vicky Jones, Fleabag is a rip-roaring look at some sort of woman living her sort of life.

Fleabag may seem oversexed, emotionally unfiltered and self-obsessed, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. With family and friendships under strain and a guinea pig café struggling to keep afloat, Fleabag suddenly finds herself with nothing to lose.

You can learn more about the special live performance, as well as see all the participating theatres, over here.

The Fleabag live performance marks the latest project from the increasingly busy Waller-Bridge. Not only is Killing Eve set to come back for a third season, but she's busy working on the new James Bond film. Plus, she's even scored a hosting gig on Saturday Night Live, complete with Taylor Swift serving as musical guest.
