On April 21, Patton Oswalt was gearing up to release his new comedy special Talking for Clapping when tragedy struck — his wife, Michelle McNamara, passed away in her sleep. While her cause of death has not yet been revealed, the news came as a shock to everyone who knew her. Now, Oswalt has further opened up about the loss with a heartfelt (and heartbreaking) new post.
Taking to Facebook, Oswalt wrote a lengthy post that detailed the difference between grief and depression. He added that his life has been extremely painful in the 100+ days since McNamara passed away.
He added that he plans to complete and publish his wife's detailed nonfiction book about the Golden State Killer.
