Meet the TikTok Guy Going Viral for Covering Green Day, Linkin Park and RHCP as Cartman from 'South Park'

BY Brock ThiessenPublished Jun 2, 2021

At this point, not much shocks us on the internet anymore. And thanks to TikTok (and YouTube before it), this is especially true when it comes to once surprising but now pretty commonplace cover tunes. Still, it's pretty wild that we now have a TikToker going viral for covering the likes of Green Day, Linkin Park and Red Hot Chili Peppers in the style South Park's Eric Cartman. If anything, because it took this long to happen.

Fernando Ufret has been making himself some serious online waves through his TikTok account, where he's been uploading songs that he's covered in the style of Cartman. And while we could go on about how spot-on Ufret is when covering songs like Linkin Park's "In the End," it's probably just easier to press that play button below.

Beyond that, Ufret has Cartmanized the likes of Green Day's "Good Riddance," the Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Otherside," Kansas' "Dust in the Wind" and even Madonna's "Material Girl."

Ufret did not take on Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" as Cartman, though, because, after all, you can't improve on perfection.

And just in case you were wondering, Ufret can sing like a normal guy too. His YouTube page has plenty of covers that are devoid of his spot-on Cartman impression, such as the pretty awesome Bill Withers cover below.
