"Look, he was always... this sort of rough, dirty dog, and his fans loved him for being that guy — maybe because they were a little bit that guy, too"

Late last year, Louis C.K.'s career halted to a stop after long-rumoured allegations of sexual misconduct from were published in an exposé that included statements from five women. While some of his accusers, like comedian Rebecca Corry, say the controversy has taken an incredible toll on their own lives, others are more concerned about whether or not C.K. will make a comeback. According to Live Nation's president of comedy, C.K. most certainly will.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, the company's Geof Wills said C.K. will make a comeback "without question." His reasoning? He claims C.K.'s fans have a lot in common with the perverse comedian.

"Look, he was always — I don't know what the right term is — this sort of rough, dirty dog, and his fans loved him for being that guy — maybe because they were a little bit that guy, too?" Wills said. "So, it might not be worldwide acceptance [when he does return]; that said, Louis has his own platform to put out his stuff. He did it before and it was a huge success. And he'd be successful if he did a tenth of what he once did."

Wills also said he's working with Kathy Griffin to ensure her comeback tour goes smoothly, but there's one comedian he doesn't think will return from controversy — Roseanne Barr.

"I don't know whether [people would] actually show up," he said. "She's a racist. It's horrific."
