Kevin Smith is having a pretty garbage time in Vancouver. The filmmaker and comedian is a frequent visitor to the British Columbia city known for its scenic mountain views, but yesterday morning (September 20) he awoke to find a massive pile of garbage outside his window.
He revealed on Twitter that he's staying at the Sutton Place Hotel, but despite tagging the establishment in his tweet, they've yet to respond.
True to form, Smith isn't taking the situation too seriously, joking that he should use the location in his upcoming episode of Supergirl, as "there's an art-directed quality to the garbage."
He also made reference to The Simpsons, saying he "might try to find an old box of Mr. Sparkle in this trash heap."
Hopefully the experience doesn't sour Smith on Vancouver too much. After all, he did just help them save the city's beloved Rio Theatre.

Good morning, #Vancouver! This was my view when I opened my curtains at the @SuttonPlaceHtl. Thinking of suggesting it as a location for my @TheCWSupergirl ep, since there's an art-directed quality to the garbage. Might try to find an old box of Mr. Sparkle in this trash heap... pic.twitter.com/0AQOdTV98s
