For a dude who mostly talks about airline food, Jerry Seinfeld is a surprisingly controversial comedian. He first made waves two years ago when he spoke out against political correctness in comedy. Now, he's drawn the Internet's ire after making a stupid Black Lives Matter joke on Twitter.
To promote an upcoming episode of his innocuous reality show Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, Seinfeld offered up some questionable wordplay.
The episode features an interview with rant comic Lewis Black, of which Seinfeld wrote "Black's life matters."
Naturally, the tweet has not been well-received, with a handful of fans criticizing the move and another group of fans criticizing those who criticize it.
