Jay and Silent Bob to Return with Their Very Own VR Series

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Apr 5, 2018

Kevin Smith hinted at the return of Jay and Silent Bob last year, and while we haven't heard any updates on Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, fans of the lackadaisical duo can expect even more material in the near future — in VR.

Yes, Smith is currently developing a series called Jay and Silent Bob VR starring the beloved pair of characters for STX Entertainment's Surreal division.

Jason Mewes is expected to carry most of the dialogue as Jay, while the live-action comedy will be shot from the perspective of Smith's character — making the viewer stand in for Silent Bob.

As The Verge reports, Jay will lead viewers "through a string of idiotic adventures."

If you're concerned about virtual reality motion sickness, Jay and Silent Bob are probably a pretty safe bet — their existence largely revolves around loitering outside fast-food restaurants selling weed.
