A man on the internet has brought together the Succession theme song and Billy Madison, and the results are unexpectedly delightful.
Jesse McLaren (whom you may remember as the guy that Photoshopped Pennywise the clown into his sister's engagement photos) created the unlikely mashup, which perfectly weaves together the storyline of an Adam Sandler classic with the melodramatic suspense of the Succession opening.
The storylines cross over a bit with the family businesses being fought over by adult children, and there are some visual similarities with the shots of ostentatious mansions. There's even a swan floating in a pool in the opening montage of Succession.
