Fred Armisen and Bill Hader Released a Full Album from Their Talking Heads Parody Band Test Pattern

Fred Armisen's musical comedy jokes rarely stay within the joke form, as the musician, actor and writer has launched a plethora of fictional bands over the years. Most recently, he and Bill Hader formed Test Pattern — a spoof Talking Heads project — for their IFC series Documentary Now! Before they air Test Pattern's send-up of the Talking Heads concert film Stop Making Sense, the pair have unleashed a full-length album.

They certainly haven't half-assed their fictional group, as Armisen and Hader have delivered a mammoth eight-song LP from the group.

The release is called Final Transmission, and includes the previously heard tracks like "Art + Student = Poor" as well as some other new goodies.

You can listen to Final Transmission in full below.
