Dave Chappelle has spent the last while performing live standup with socially distanced audiences and rapid testing. That said, a string of upcoming shows in Austin have been cancelled after he tested positive for the virus.

According to TMZ, Chappelle has not shown any symptoms but will not continue with planned shows this weekend in Texas. Two of the shows were with Joe Rogan, who was pictured chilling with Dave and their friends Elon Musk and Grimes at Stubb's:

Considering the fact that Grimes contracted COVID-19 earlier this month (and said that she enjoyed it), much of the internet suggested that it was Grimes who passed the disease onto Chappelle.

While she hasn't commented on the matter, Rogan shared the following quote with TMZ: "Because people are asking, I was not exposed to the person who had covid and I have tested negative every day this week. Also, the person that gave covid to Dave was NOT Elon's partner, Grimes."
