Would you wait 30 minutes for IHOP? Adam Sandler's answer to that question is a definite no. The beloved comedian was spotted leaving a New York pancake house in a TikTok video that has now gone viral.
Dayanna Rodas posted a video of herself in a clown makeup filter, writing, "Not realizing its Adam Sandler and telling him its a 30min wait and him [of course] leaving [because] hes not going to wait 30mins for IHOP."
In the video's caption, she added, "Pleaseee come back."
The video has inspired TikTok commenters to open up about their own times serving Adam Sandler in restaurants, all of whom attested to his polite, patient manner and his refusal to pull the celeb card.
That said, the video is perplexing for a few reasons. Aside from the surveillance footage of Sandler (who looks great in his oversized North Face hoodie) that is already a little creepy, it begs the question: does IHOP have a secret VIP area where they could have seated the Sandman? Or, had they known it was him, would they have asked someone else to leave?
Sandler's next big movie is called Spaceman. The Netflix movie will see him starring alongside Carey Mulligan.
