RZA, Ghostface, Raekwon and Method Man in Talks to Reunite for New LP
7/27/2009 By Josiah Hughes

The Wu-Tang Clan have been a busy bunch lately. From RZA’s spiritual philosophy book to Ghostface Killah’s newfound R&B direction, the Clan have been cranking out product like only they know how. Now, it appears they’ll be working a little more closely together, as it’s been revealed that RZA, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon and Method Man have teamed up to work on a new album.

In an interview with MTV News, Method Man revealed that he was in talks with the fellow Wu rappers to work together on a new project. “It's in discussion right now," he said. "I don't want to say it's written in stone, but it's in discussion. I want some feedback from the fans to see how they would take that.”

The album would rely heavily on production from RZA, but would also leave room for other producers to showcase their talents. Ultimately, it would be a Ghostface, Raekwon and Method Man album and not fly under the Wu-Tang banner.

The interest in working as a trio comes from Method’s desire to collaborate. "Honestly, I don't want to make an album by myself," he said, "but it's something that's required, and the fans want that, so I'm gonna do that… [It’s] the same way with my shows, I like doing shows with brothers instead of just doing them by myself. I like to have a crowd around. And have that input to make the project better."
