By Nicole VilleneuveHaving recently relocated from Kitchener, ON to Halifax, Cursed Arrows still spoke to the room as if they were thrilled to have been invited to play. The garage punk duo’s musical energy didn’t quite match their spoken gratitude, but in a tiny radio station front lobby, it’s possible they scaled it back by default. Ry and Jack Stanley traded drum, guitar and vocal duties, and despite some impatient tension from the two while plugging in and tuning up between songs, they were focused and in tune with each other as soon as they started playing, succinctly keeping the tiny crowd absorbed and head-bobbing along.Be the first to comment
