A friend with slightly sharper French skills than mine chuckled at some of their lyrics but these New Yorkais wear the Franco guise well, infusing their punchy retrofit pop with psychedelic streaks and new wave kicks. Party tunes and go-go choreography are expected, but Nous Non Plus’s ace musicianship and predominantly original material set them well apart from your average novelty band.
