By Alex HudsonSwans will wrap up the summer by releasing their epic-length new album The Seer, and once that doubtless bleak collection arrives, the post-punk outfit will be promoting it with a tour. They've already got some North American dates booked for September, and now Michael Gira and company have expanded their schedule.
Once the initial runs of shows with Xiu Xiu wraps up in late September, Swans will resume touring in October with dates in the eastern half of the continent. This includes two gigs here in Canada: Toronto on October 25 and Montreal the next day.
Then, in November, Swans will hop on a plane an spend a few weeks in Europe. See the schedule below and read up on The Seer here. It drops on August 27 via Young God Records.
