Sufjan Stevens Shares New Christmas Recordings
By Josiah HughesEarlier this month, indie pop master Sufjan Stevens hinted that he might be preparing a new Christmas album with the appearance of a mysterious Tumblr page. Now, the site has further supported evidence of a new release with eight brand new song clips.

The YouTube links, which can all be streamed below, offer up brief clips of never-before-heard material. It's undeniably Sufjan, complete with busy arrangements, heartfelt vocals and the odd banjo popping up here and there.

There are covers of "Do You Hear What I Hear?," "Santa Claus is Coming to Town," and "Ah, Holy Jesus" along with new pieces "HappyKarmaChristmas" and "No One Can Save You From Christmases Past." On top of that, there are three more instrumentals.

For now, there are no other details to offer on Sufjan's upcoming Christmas release, though we're starting to feel pretty confident that it's happening.
