By Alex HudsonLast year, Stephen Malkmus embarked upon a highly- publicized reunion tour with Pavement. Now, the '90s slacker icons have gone their separate ways -- at least for now -- and Malkmus is back to playing with his band the Jicks. This fall, the group will embark upon a North American tour that includes a handful of Canadian dates.
The outing lasts for a month, beginning on September 20 in Detroit and wrapping up on October 20 in Solana Beach, CA. Along the way, Malkmus will play four Canadian cities: Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Vancouver.
Malkmus and co. will be selling their new album Mirror Traffic. Due out through Matador on August 23, it was produced by fellow '90s hero Beck.
We previously heard the album cut "Senator," which is embedded at the bottom of this page. Check out the 15-song tracklist below the tour schedule.
