By Alex HudsonThe Shins recently released their latest full-length, Port of Morrow, and now songwriter James Mercer and his band of hired guns have expanded their tour in support of the disc all the way until the fall.
In the next couple of weeks, the group will wrap up a tour in the U.S. before heading across the oceans to play shows in Europe, Asia and Australia. The next North American leg begins in earnest in September and October, when the Shins will play a number of shows in the U.S., plus one in Vancouver on September 25.
Also note that they will open for the Black Keys in Toronto on August 4. See the schedule below.
