Pearl Jam's 20th Toasted with New Beer
By Gregory AdamsIconic grungers Pearl Jam have celebrated their 20th anniversary several ways this year, from the Pearl Jam Twenty documentary to a handful of reissues, but the band's achievements are now being toasted by U.S. beermaker Dogfish Head Craft Brewery via a tributary ale.

The suds sellers announced in a press release that its latest creation, Faithfull Ale, will be released this month to mark the anniversary of Pearl Jam's debut disc, Ten, as well as the rest of the outfit's hefty catalogue.

"To me, Ten is the perfect example of a record lover's record. The whole thing rocks," Dogfish president and founder Sam Calagione said in a statement. "As an off-centered brewery, we believe in celebrating the breadth of our whole portfolio and we feel an affinity for Pearl Jam a long-player band in a singles-obsessed world."

The Belgian-style golden ale is "delicately hopped to 20 IBUs [international bitterness units]," and features hints of black currants, clocking in with an alcohol percentage of seven percent. Sounds perfect for drinking on your "Porch" or "Garden."

The brew will be sold in 750 ml bottles and will, ahem, "Even Flow" on draft where available.

Dogfish Head Craft Brewery has also just reissued music-minded beverages tipping their hat to Miles Davis (called, what else, Bitches Brew) and Robert Johnson (Hellhound on My Ale).
