Nine Inch Nails Announce North American Tour with Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Explosions in the Sky, Reveal Album Art
By Brock ThiessenLast night (June 5) was a busy one for Nine Inch Nails fans, as Trent Reznor and co. finally announced their comeback album Hesitation Marks, due out September 3 through Columbia Records. But that's not all they got. Quickly following the album reveal, the band shared their new track "Came Back Haunted" a little early, and to top it off, they've now rolled out a massive string of North American tour dates.

UPDATE: In Canada, the album will be arriving via Universal Music Canada. You can also stream a playlist of NIN's singles below.

As you can see from the schedule below, the tour kicks off in the fall, making its way across the U.S. and hitting up many Canadian cities along the way. Those Canuck dates include Montreal on October 3, Toronto on October 4, Vancouver on November 21, Edmonton on November 24 and Calgary on November 25. Sweetening the deal all that much more, opening for NIN on the tour will be Godspeed You! Black Emperor for select dates, as well as Explosions in the Sky on others. The latter, however, will be opening all the Canuck dates.

Check out the full schedule below.

Following all that activity last night, we've also got a few more details about Hesitation Marks, including its cover art (see above). And while we still don't have a tracklist, the regular edition will include 14 songs, while the deluxe one will house 17 and a 28-page book.

Of course, listen to "Came Back Haunted" at the bottom of the page.

i love both explosions and godspeed but i would much rather see those two play a show together. Nothing against NIN but the whole stadium thing is so non intimate and that intimacy is what makes an explosions show and a godspeed show so damn breathtaking.

Back to Godspeed. Why are they avoiding playing central and eastern Canada this year? Did I miss something? I am dying to see them live again and as a fan I am feeling frustrated that every time I see their name and tour in the same sentence it never follows up with a Toronto concert. Please come back...we miss you.

Talk about a sick lineup!

Probably the best opening band/headline act I've ever seen.

uhhh... actually... just listened to GS!BE.... sorry....

but they ABSOLUTELY SUCK! Why in the FUCK would NIN have them open... I guess to make NIN new crap appear/sound better than what it may? Shit... gonna have to sit through this opening shit.

I remember a few years back, Queens of the Stone Age opened for them and that was INCREDIBLE.... sorry...but GS!BE just a HUGE disappointment. :/
