Mount Eerie to Release New Live Album
By Josiah HughesThere are years when Mount Eerie releases new studio material, like last year's two LPs, and then there are years where the Phil Elverum-led project focuses on cleaning out the closet. This year's already seen an impressive reissue campaign and unearthed soundtrack, and now we're getting a live album too.

Live in Bloomington, September 30th, 2011 is, as you may have guessed, a live Mount Eerie album that was recorded in Bloomington, IN, on September 30, 2011. The release was recorded by Mike Bridavsky at Russian Recording and, if the first leak "Ancient Questions" is any indication, it is a very high quality live recording.

XRA Records will release the album on July 9. The tracklisting is available below, along with a "commercial" for the release. That's the beautiful album art above.

On top of the new live album, Elverum also has some upcoming shows, a few of which are in Canada. See the schedule below.
