Metric and Stars Team Up for Canadian Fall Tour

By Alex HudsonHaving released Synthetica earlier this month, Metric will be touring heavily for the remainder of 2012. And while the Toronto band's schedule here in Canada was previously looking a little thin, they have now remedied that by booking a fall tour of their home and native land.

The newly announced leg kicks off on the West Coast with a show in Victoria, BC, on November 9. From there, they will head east and play a total of ten more Canadian shows, hitting up cities like Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg and wrapping things up in Toronto.

As quite the bonus, Stars will open for Metric throughout the newly revealed Canadian trek. Of course, Stars will return with The North on September 4 via ATO Records, marking the follow-up to 2010's The Five Ghosts.

A fans-only pre-sale for the new dates begins today and runs until this Thursday (June 28). Sign up for Metric's email list at their official website to receive updates about how to participate in the pre-sale.
