By Alex HudsonBack in the summer, when Martha Wainwright announced the upcoming release of her album Come Home to Mama, due out October 16 through MapleMusic, the Montreal-raised songwriter released a statement that said, "I can't wait to hit the road with my family and new band in tow." This fall, she will do just that.
The Canadian leg of the tour includes four dates on consecutive days from November 5 to 8. In that time, she will perform in Montreal, Quebec City, Burnstown and Toronto.
In addition to the Canadian gigs, Martha's schedule includes U.S. dates and a trip to Europe. See the North American itinerary below, and head to her official website for the full international calendar.
Wainwright previously said that Come Home to Mama is "a culmination of my life experiences so far. Everything changed for me a couple years ago and this record is a representation of that and a return to the reason I started writing songs."
