By Gregory AdamsEarlier this year, emo-tinged indie rock group the Jealous Sound issued A Gentle Reminder, the L.A. band's third full-length effort and first since 2003's Kill Them With Kindness. Now that the group are seemingly out of hibernation, they're taking their tunes to stages all over North America.
A press release confirms that considering the success of a recent spring tour, the act will take off on a month-long trek this September.
"We were pleasantly surprised to have the most successful and enjoyable tour of our career this last spring," the band's Blair Shehan said in a statement. "Looking forward to playing the old favourites, a couple from A Gentle Reminder that didn't make the set last tour and a brand new song that we're very excited about."
Though they'll hit up a number of cities between the west and east coasts of the U.S., the band will perform in Canada but once on the trip. That date will take place September 29 at Montreal's Il Motore. You can peep all the dates down below.
Joining the band on all stops will be Long Island, NY outfit Daytrader. To celebrate the tour team-up, the bands have put together a split 7-inch. A tracklisting has yet to be offered up, but the single, which will be pressed by Rise Records, will be available at the upcoming shows.
