By Alex HudsonWinnipeg pop rockers Imaginary Cities have found plenty of success here in Canada, having been nominated for the Polaris Music Prize and embarking on high-profile tours with the Pixies. This spring and summer, the band will continue to spread the word by embarking on a North American tour.
The first half of the trek is in June with Philadelphia experimental rock outfit mewithoutYou, with whom they will play a number of U.S. gigs. This leg will contain a single Canadian date in Toronto on June 9. After that, Imaginary Cities will strike out on their own and play a number of shows in Western Canada, Ontario and Quebec (along with more U.S. appearances) in July and August.
