To start things off, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 (pictured), directed by Bill Condon, has been released this week. The film follows the story of Bella as she adjusts to her new life as a mother and member of the undead, and ends the story of true vampire love as made famous by author Stephenie Meyer's teen book series.
The self-referential Holy Motors, directed by Leos Carax, is out, too. It follows a man as he attends several appointments throughout his day, each one in some way indicative of the genre that Carax is paying homage to. New psychological thriller Citadel feels like it's pulling you into a nightmare as you watch it. The film follows the tragic story of single father Tommy as he struggles with the ever-fading line between reality and his own fear and paranoia.
Lastly, although it's not an official Monty Python reunion, A Liar's Autobiography — The Untrue Story of Monty Python's Graham Chapman brings the legendary Monty Python member back to life by utilizing recordings of Chapman reading his own memoirs aloud, enlisting several top-notch animators and of course getting some help from the remaining members of Monty Python.
