The Flaming Lips to Stream 'Freak Night' Film for 24 Hours Starting Tonight
By Alex HudsonWhen the Flaming Lips recently announced their Freak Night concert film, we knew that the digital release was imminent, although the details were unclear. Now, we've got some confirmation about roll-out plan for the psych-rock troupe's new film.

In a new teaser, Lips singer Wayne Coyne announced that Freak Night will be streaming for 24 hours starting at midnight tonight (December 21 or 22, depending on how you look at it) from Ustream.

Coyne explained that the film will feature a bleeding wound on his leg, laser beams shooting out of his hands, and a huge cape that covers the entire front of the audience. It was filmed on October 26 at the Oklahoma City Zoo Amphitheatre by Delo Creative. Read the show's setlist right here.

Watch the trailer below and check back to Ustream for the full concert anytime on December 22.

According to Consequence of Sound, a DVD release is in the works.
