By Gregory AdamsEnglish crust vets Doom have run through a number of lineup changes since forming in the '80s, but none of those variations of the act had ever made it over to play for Canadian crowds. That all changes this spring when the band head out for their first ever tour of our country.
Last week, a Vancouver promoter spilled the beans a bit early over Facebook, confirming that Doom would be headlining a show at the city's Astoria Hotel on April 2, but bookers have finally revealed more details from the trip.
The tour actually kicks off in Mexico City for the Obscene Extreme music fest, but they'll by-pass the U.S. circuit by blasting up to Vancouver, and heading out east. While some details have yet to be hammered out, Doom will make it out as far east as Montreal. You can see the dates down below.
Doom recently released the 2LP singles and rarities compendium Doomed Again.
