By Josiah HughesWhile 2012 is already looking big for Diplo with a new EP and the long-awaited sophomore album and cartoon series from Major Lazer, dude can't seem to stop working. In other words, you can add an upcoming book to your Diplo shopping list.
The book is called 128 Beats Per Minute: Diplo's Visual Guide to Music, Culture and Everything in Between, and promises to offer up just what its title suggests, opening with, "Seven years, thirty-two countries, sixty thousand photos, and a million miles later, here is what we've been doing."
With photography from former Annie Liebowitz assistant Shane McCauley and commentary from Diplo on his experiences in Israel, Trinidad, Russia, Asia and elsewhere, the book has a lot to offer. Add a forward from Alexander Wang and a playlist from Diplo, and this is going to be an excellent addition to your bathroom reading.
The book will drop in April via Universe Publishing, a division of Rizzoli.
