Bob Dylan Lashes Out at His Critics
By Alex HudsonWho knew that Bob Dylan had such a potty mouth? The legendary songwriter just released his latest LP, Tempest, and he has now lashed out against his critics in a profanity-laced interview with Rolling Stone.

When asked about those who have criticized him for allegedly plagiarizing other artists in his lyrics, Dylan stated that "quotation is a rich and enriching tradition" in jazz and folk music. His response quickly turned rather harsh, however, as he added, "Wussies and pussies complain about that stuff."

From there, he reminisced about those who criticized him for switching to electric guitar in 1965. "These are the same people that tried to pin the name Judas on me," he continued. "Judas, the most hated name in human history! If you think you've been called a bad name, try to work your way out from under that. Yeah, and for what? For playing an electric guitar? As if that is in some kind of way equitable to betraying our Lord and delivering him up to be crucified. All those evil motherfuckers can rot in hell."

He added that songwriting "has to do with melody and rhythm, and then after that, anything goes. You make everything yours. We all do it."

Did he just tell Pete Seeger to rot in hell?

"Wussy?" Bob Dylan looks like he'd smell and I imagine having a conversation with him to be akin to getting a colonoscopy.

Proud of him! Not only for speaking his mind, but also for his continuing music career. I, for one, actually love "Duquesne Whistle" and think the video is great bit.ly
