By Alex HudsonEarlier in the fall, beloved hip-hop duo Black Star axed some of their American tour dates, citing difficulties with promoter Live Nation as the reason for the cancellations. Evidently that's not stopping Mos Def (aka Yasiin) and Talib Kweli from trying again, however, since the two rappers have announced more gigs in November and December.
The outing includes two Canadian stops: Toronto, ON's Kool Haus on November 12 and Montreal, QC's L'Olympia de Montreal the next day. As for the U.S. dates, Black Star have a messy schedule that has them hopping from one coast the other from this week until mid-December.
Assuming that all tour dates go ahead as planned, the schedule is below. Hopefully the pair can maintain their working relationship with the promoters at least until the Canadian gigs are done.
