Big K.R.I.T. Reveals 'Live from the Underground' Release Date, Artwork
By Gregory AdamsBig K.R.I.T. placated his fans earlier this year when he delivered the 4Eva N A Day mixtape in place of the long-delayed Live from the Underground, but it looks as if the Mississippi spitter will finally deliver his proper full-length debut June 5 through Def Jam.

A tracklisting has yet to pop up for the long-player, but K.R.I.T. has now revealed the album's artwork, a cartoony car crash scene, which you can see above. The rapper sent out a brief statement about the cover, which apparently alludes to the impact he's about to make on the music scene at large.

"It's a representation of how I feel about underground vs mainstream music," he wrote. "At times I feel like mainstream music operates on a totally different planet. This illustrates how I've crash landed into the mainstream to bring the sounds from the underground back 2 the forefront."

Late last month, K.R.I.T. premiered the new track "I Got This," which is expected to pop up on Live from the Underground. You can stream the song, full of '90s-style West Coast synths and a busy boom-bap beat, down below.
