By Alex HudsonBig John Bates released his album Battered Bones earlier this month, and soon the Vancouver punk'n'roll growler will be supporting the new disc with a batch of fall tour dates.
Following a brief run of U.S. gigs that stretches from the end of this month to the beginning of next, Bates will hit the road in Canada starting in mid-October. This Jägermeister-sponsered outing launches on the East Coast. The songwriter will then head west until he hits Revelstoke, BC, on November 4, making for a total of 14 Canadian shows.
