By Josiah HughesPortland, OR-based hip-hop quintet Animal Farm attracted many fans to their self-described "true school" sound when they released their 2008 album, The Unknown, which included a high-profile guest spot from KRS-One. Now, they have teamed up with some more guests for their sophomore effort.
The record is called Culture Shock and was entirely produced by the group's Gen. Erik. In addition to the four rappers atop his beats, the album features appearances from Talib Kweli, Rob Swift, DJ Wicked and Abstract Rude.
Culture Shock will be available on June 7 via the group's Animal Farm Records, with Canadian distribution available via Conveyer. Talib-assisted single "Test of Time" can be streamed below.
