You Say Party Announce First Live Show Since Drummer's Passing
By Stephen CarlickThis year has been a tough one for You Say Party, to say the least, but on July 29, the newly christened angular pop outfit will return to the stage with a headlining performance at Jubilee Park in their hometown of Abbotsford, BC.

As we previously reported, the band were devastated this past April when longtime drummer Devon Clifford passed away after collapsing onstage during a Vancouver show. Clifford was 30 years old.

In the aftermath, You Say Party dropped half their name ("You Say Die!"), said goodbye to keyboardist Krista Loewen, and incorporated former tourmates Robert Andow and Bobby Siadat of Vancouver band Gang Violence into the fold.

The Abbotsford show will mark the first time the new band play together live, and the first time onstage since Clifford's passing. Roger Potter and Old Mare will open the show. For more info, follow the band on their Twitter here.

Thanks to AUX for the heads-up.
