By Josiah HughesEither Ed Banger Records has moved on from the French touch explosion of 2007 or IDM legend Squarepusher has dropped the wacky time signatures for some four-on-the-floor filter-house. Whatever the case may be, the Warp Records staple born Tom Jenkinson has announced a new release coming out on the hip French imprint.
The record is called Cryptic Motion, and is billed as "Squarepusher presents Shobaleader One," suggesting that this might be the first release in a series. The twelve-inch release features the title track on the A-side, with a remix from Ed Banger whiz Mr. Oizo on the flip. Both tracks can be streamed via SoundCloud below.
Ed Banger Records will drop Cryptic Motion on August 30 in the UK.
