By Stephen CarlickWhat aspect of the suburbs did you hope the new Arcade Fire album cover would capture? Bushes? Driveways? Fences? Deciduous trees? Tropical ones? Now you can get whatever you like, as the band have revealed eight different covers for The Suburbs, all of which capture a different viewpoint of the same retro-looking neighbourhood.
As Consequence of Sound points out, one of the eight different covers will be chosen at random when you order the album online, so if one of those images stands out to you, you might want to mosey over to your local record store to pick it up.
As you by now know, The Suburbs will be available August 3 courtesy of Merge Records. We reported the tracklist and a number of other details here.
And, if you want to do something nice and make the Arcade Fire put their money where their mouth is, why not donate $5 by texting Kanpe to aid Haitian relief? The Arcade Fire will match you buck for buck.
